New Products Review

Hot Rods Marine Care Products introduced the newest additions to their line of boat and tackle care products at the Atlantic City Boat Show this past February.  Debuting for the first time was Rod Shield, a specially formulated fishing rod cleaner and protectant.  Also making its first appearance was Big Bob's Lightning Fast Reel Oil, a 100-percent synthetic long lasting and exceptionally smooth reel lubricant that provides superior corrosion resistance in all climates.

Both products made great additions to the company's already complete line of marine care products.  "Our first product was a one-step cleaner and wax for boats called Restoration Wax," said Hot Rods President Robert Fisher.  "Since then we have expanded our product line and carry a total of 14 products for boaters and fishermen."  Unlike many other marine care product companies, Hot Rods caters to fishermen.  "We have had lots of interest from tackle shops," said Fisher.  The company is offering a "Tackle Care Center" countertop displays for businesses that retail the new tackle care products along with Hot Rods Multi-Purpose Marine Grease in 1 3/4 ounce tubes.

According to Fisher, Hot Rods products are not the end-all-to-be-all types of products to which some companies make claims.  "We just offer the absolute best quality marine and tackle care products available today."  And Fisher is not alone in his assessment of his company's line of products.  Hot Rods products are used and endorsed by both the Ranger Boat Company and Silverton Yachts.  The company's product line-up includes everything from cleaners, waxes and protectants to racing lubricants.  Look for a Hot Rods display at your favorite bait and tackle store, marina or marine supply store.
